October 11 Pink Sunday AND the kick off of United Thank offering - As part of our UTO Ingathering, We are collecting a Thanksgiving for St. Christopher’s Cancer Survivors. Please look for a jar in the back of the church.

September 15, 9:30 - St. Christopher’s Women’s Breakfast. Please call Kathy Hart, if you have any questions. A sign-up sheet is in the back of the church.

September 16, 1-3 - Prayer Square Affair-in church house. Ken Mertz will lead the group. New schedule for Prayer Squares is the First Wednesday of each month, starting in October. New dates are: October 7th, November 4th, and December 2nd. And there still will be chocolate!

September 27th, 10:30 - Parish Picnic in Nottingham Park. We will be in Pavilion #4. Please bring a side dish or a dessert to share. We need people to come at 9:00 am to help set-up. If you can help set-up please e-mail Liz Mroz at . We will also need people to help clean up. We need 2 or 3 grills. We will be having a pumpkin contest this year for kids.

October is Stewardship month. Keep a look out for more information.

October 4, 2 p.m. - Blessing of the Animals. All animals welcomed. Well, maybe no snakes or Spiders.

October 11th - we are observing Pink Sunday for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We ask the Congregation, all children and adults, to wear pink or cancer awareness shirts to services that day. Survivors may wear purple. We would like to honor anyone who has survived cancer in this service. Please email Liz Mroz at if you, or someone you’d like to honor, has survived these dreadful diseases. We will also remember those lost to cancer. Contact Liz to add the names of family and friends.

October 11th and 18th - UTO Fall Ingathering. Look for the blue boxes and envelopes in the back of the church. United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through United Thank Offering, men, women, and children nurture the habit of giving daily thanks to God. These prayers of thanksgiving start when we recognize and name our many daily blessings. Look for the blue boxes and envelopes.

October 24th, 2015, 7-10pm - Time Talent and Treasure Auction. If you can help with the auction, please contact Julie Pepi at or call her. Donation forms are in the back of the church. If you have any questions, please contact Julie.

TBD- Cookie Walk - Please start thinking about what kind of cookies you are going to make for our cookie walk in December. Liz makes K-9 cookies for our furry family members, Christmas & Toffee Bark. What are you going to make?

Thank you to everyone who helped with our Yard Sale and Chicken BBQ. You are all awesome! We would also like to thank all of our volunteers who help keep St. Christopher’s going.

Sponsor our Adopted Children These children need our support! You may pledge to provide for one, two or all three children. Our 2015 Signup sheet is in the back of the church, each child is $30.00 per month. Please remember the month you pledged. Place your check marked “Adopted Children” in the collection plate. WE make a difference in a child’s life! Thank You!

Lighthouse Youth Center Food Requests - The Center always has a need for Mac and Cheese packs, canned corn and green beans, pancake mix, syrup, Ranch salad dressing and Tang drink mix. They also would welcome a supply of paper plates and napkins. The Center is welcoming new children every day, so help them feed those young bodies as the LYC staff and volunteers demonstrate the love of Christ.
